Sijae Byun relates the seed, plant, and star with reality, imagination, and fantasy. This is a story of particles traveling between sky and land. The particles transform into seeds, plants and stars during travel. In the process of transformation, these are mixing, waving, moving, vibrating, creating rhythm and patterns. These forms are recalled memories from the atmosphere, colors, senses and times. Sijae is focused on layered silk paintings using ink, acrylic, pigment, and oil. Using layered silk is the layered of time for her. Overlapping Transparent silk obscures and shows the image in memories.
